‘Maine Girl Dads’ is a coalition of dads (8,000 of us and counting) that have banded together over a common cause – to protect the dignity, opportunity, and privacy of our daughters. Simply put, we want districts across Maine to re-institute sex-based policies in school & sport. No more males in female spaces nor sports.

Our stance is purely paternal, not remotely political, and based in common sense. Sex matters and our daughters matter.

We’ve helped shift policies in multiple school Districts (MSAD 52, RSU, 73, RSU 70, Baileyville, Danforth, and Richmond) but we have so much more to do!

The MPA has failed our daughters and continues to promote policies that violate Federal Title IX protection. No more. As of September 2025, we have officially filed a ballot referendum to get ‘Protect Girls’ Sports in Maine’ on the 2026 ballot!

It’s time for us all – dads and advocates alike – to band together, raise our voices, and speak out against the madness of males in female sports and spaces.

Through our voices and our actions, we can officially dismantle this insanity across our state.

• We can continue to influence our school boards to institute sex-based policies.
• We can encourage others to stand up and stand with common sense.
• We can help our daughters finally breathe a sigh of relief.
